Ever since the beginning when computers were running Windows 3.1 and 3.11 for Workgroups and Macintosh Performa´s. Processors ranging from Intel 80486 to Pentium 75´s, Motorola 25´s, and PowerPC 75´s were back then. As an individual perspective, repairs were relatively easy, yet many mistakes were learned. Like thinking the “trash can” on a Mac was another folder and not a void. Or rebooting school computers out of curiosity, better yet, ejecting CDROM drives from an entire lab of computers when the bell rang. Or how about getting into trouble by school administrators utilizing there school networks and installing games like Doom, Quake and remote access programs. There were others like, disinfecting viruses for a school presentation and then getting into trouble for finding back doors without permission. Those were the days!
